September is National Preparedness Month

A situation that can pose a threat to the safety of you and your family may not give you adequate time to prepare. Make your plan now, and constantly revisit it to keep it fresh.

Three quick things to remember:

  • Who to call
  • Where to go
  • What to pack

Resources

Ready.gov has resources available to help you prepare, from the mindset of preparedness to being ready to take action. North Carolina also has a portal with helpful preparedness tips at readync.org, which can also be downloaded as an app for phones and mobile devices.
