Tis’ the Season…The Flu Season that is

Fall is here and winter wonderland is right around the corner… that can only mean one thing, it’s time to get a flu shot!

Along with the Center for Disease Control, we are recommending that if you are over six months of age that you get a flu shot as soon as possible.  That includes you, and almost ALL your friends and loved ones (unless you have a true allergy to the vaccine or have a severe underlying immune deficiency).

If you’re one of those people who is sitting around thinking “Why Should I get it? I’m 23 and healthy.”

Well here’s why: every year, young, otherwise healthy people die from the flu, most of whom are not vaccinated. This year’s vaccine has  protection from H1N1 and other various strains of flu.

You should have no excuses – call your Doctor, schedule an appointment and ask about GETTING YOUR FLU SHOT NOW!!
